Un seism de 6,7 grade Richter s-a produs la ora 11:40 (GMT) in zona insulelor Andaman, epicentrul acestuia aflandu-se la 40 km adancime.Acesta s-a simtit in insulele Andaman cu o intensitate de IV - VI grade pe scara Mercalli.
